The 30-year industry veteran joined the Sam Pack organization, and supervises a team of 25 sales associates and four finance managers. The Lewisville location was named the June Business of the Month by the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce, listed as the Best Car Dealership in Flower Mound by Living Magazine, and was voted as the one of the Top 3 dealership’s in the annual Best of Denton County listing.

Since then, George has trained thousands of F&I managers and his popular “Saturday Morning Messages to F&I Masters™” has over 12,000 subscribers, worldwide. Gregory Arroyo serves as executive editor for F&I and Showroom magazine. Mr. Arroyo’s eight-year career as a journalist also includes a three-year stint with Mobile Electronics magazine, another Bobit Business Media publication covering the mobile electronics aftermarket. He also served as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times, and was part of the inaugural team that launched the newspaper’s community newspaper program in Los Angeles. Mr. Arroyo has also served as a publicist and marketer for several consumer electronics companies, and helped lead two consumer-awareness campaigns for the Consumer Electronics Association’s Mobile Electronics Division.

He is in his 28th year of doing business and has spent the greater part of that time standing on service drives, side-by-side with Service Advisors, successfully training them in the art of selling, customer service, customer retention, and communication skills. He is known as the father of modern day walk-around and selling processes for service drives, and is recognized as the nation’s authority when it comes to training service advisors. Most who experience Jeff’s training say it is the most practical, realistic, and easy to understand sales training ever made available to the marketplace.

Harlene Doane is the Chief Operations Officer of DealerStrong, previous Editor and Director for Auto Dealer Monthly magazine, and former automotive controller. Harlene has published many articles on leadership and training, and continues to develop training materials to assist dealer clients with their internal training needs. Scott is currently the President and Owner of Dream Cars Austin, soon to be Elder Mitsubishi in Cedar Park, TX.  After developing successful software and electronics businesses in Austin, TX, he bought a small used car dealership in 2003. While still in the electronics business, he began experimenting with growing the used car dealership. In 2008 he began fully focusing on developing a team and processes to be successful in the special finance niche. By 2014, the company’s sales had grown to near $50M from a single location.

Marv Eleazer has more than 30 years in automotive retail and calls on those decades of experience in a column known as Mad Marv in F&I Showroom magazine each month. He also founded Ethical F&I Managers Facebook group which is an ongoing symposium of professional exchange among F&I practitioners. Marv has been employed in F&I at Langdale Ford since 1999 and handles all aspects of the job.

Carl has more than 28 years of experience in the automotive industry, including training, financial services, income development and dealership management. As the Director of Training, he oversees all training efforts for EasyCare partners and dealers. Jay founded his own company, Lawrence Custom Training & Consulting, working with industry leaders including Universal Underwriters, JM&A, and American Honda. Tiger Lester serves as regional finance director for Group 1 Automotive, the third-largest automotive retailer in the United States, with 124 dealerships across 15 states. He oversees all F&I operations for Group 1 within the Southwest, which consistently ranks among Group 1’s top regions for F&I performance in terms of product sales and PRU. Among his duties, Lester manages the hiring and promotion of F&I managers and directors, conducts ongoing training, performs regular compliance audits, and maintains stringent F&I performance standards. Lester has also served as a judge in the 2015 and 2016 Northwood University F&I Innovator of the Year Awards.

He has worked closely with Trans Union Experian and Equifax in developing and growing these related product categories with Dealers Dealer groups Affiliates and OEMs. Bob has extensive contacts at the executive levels within these market segments and has developed a solid networking foundation of business peers and partnerships. The dealership is the No. 1-ranked CJDR dealership in Central Texas; it is No. 4 in the district, and is among the top 25 in the nation. Levin and his team of F&I professionals are AFIP-certified, and their sole focus is on excellence in customer service. The Nyle Maxwell Family of Dealerships was honored as a 2012 F&I and Showroom News Pacesetter and was nominated for Time Magazine and Ally Financial Dealer of the Year the following year.

In that role, he is general counsel and manages legislative and regulatory affairs for the association. Prior to his position with NIADA, Petersen was a partner in law firm of Mac Murray, Petersen & Shuster LLP representing both independent and franchise dealers, auto auctions, finance companies, service contract companies and marketing firms, among others, in matters related to state and federal consumer financial protection laws. Acting on that insight, he founded ReverseRisk® to help dealers proficiently and accurately track operations across all departments to increase profits.
